The open-source OS X BibTeX editor BibDesk has reached version 1.0, after numerous 0. releases since February 2002. BibDesk makes bibliography management on the Mac a breeze and ties in with all LaTeX front ends. It’s a great piece of software. Thanks, Michael!

Ciao tk, sorry for being a little bit offtopic, but I heard that the new safari release supports wysiwyg content editing, do you know if any worpress plugin has been developed with safari support?

Off topic is the default mode of blogging, no?
I’m not sure I’m the right person to ask since I post through ecto (another excellent piece of software) and to a hosted Wordpress distribution which supports WYSIWYG editing in any browser, or at least all browsers I’ve tried. Also, isn’t WYSIWYG a feature of your blog engine rather than the browser?
Not sure whether I misunderstood your question…

Unfortunately not, Safari was one of the browser which didn’t address the compatibility on this issue. I guess the problem is going to be solved starting from the 2.0 version bundled in tiger (http://allforces.com/2005/04/19/wysiwyg-comes-to-safari-13/). But even though now it looks like everything works on demos, I still haven’t found any wp-plug in which makes me post from safari directly. That’s why I am forced to use Firefox, which is not that good in Mac os X (slow and hard for my g3)! Well, I’ll be patient and wait, in the meanwhile looking for Ecto, the “piece of software” you just suggested. Tnks f.
